The Lotus Butterfly

I imagine that the butterfly was not born of a caterpillar cocoon, but born of a lotus flower. The mysteriously rooted flower having the courage to emerge through a pond of muddy waters, sprouting into this beautifully unscathed bloom, birthing something as equally gracious and beautiful.

A majestic butterfly, that humbly navigates life's challenges. Fluttering with vivid wings of hope through adversity and tribulations, she courageously spreads her wings and fly.

At days end, the butterfly returns to the lotus flower her safe haven, as the lotus flower retreats below the waters nightly, a place for her healing and restoration, re-emerging in the morning blooming once again sparkling clean. Rebirthing the butterfly to forge ahead with a renewed strength and spirit to gracefully fly again day after day.

I believe it is very fitting for a lotus flower to birth a butterfly and this is why I coined my business and my personality as such. I am highly creative with a vivid imagination; an outside of the box kind of thinker. Untraditional and away from what is considered normal.

I have the kind of intelligence that has been limited to the rules and regulations of the systems I've continued to find myself in. My true and most authentic self is when I'm in my creative spaces. Give me a task or assignment with the the freedom to have at it and you won't help but to receive a more complex and well detailed solution which most are unwilling to render. In most situations, I choose simplicity over complication.

Rather than spending more time making simple things complicated, I choose to keep complicated things simple. I like to spend time on things that truly matter. The things that make a situation better and things that make a difference. I enjoy creating beautiful experiences and happiness around me and for others. I'm fun spirited, unique and intuitive and I love to explore what can be possible.

I strive to be the beautiful surprise and to do what is unexpected in a gracious way. I've survived deep hardships and I've worked to overcome and beat the odds. The goodness and quality of my life have been the result of my resilience, hope, genuine love, integrity, personal development and values, inspite of any circumstances. I have always found a way to find the wisdom and beauty in life's lessons and with intention and on purpose I show up to make an impact and difference. I live free like the butterfly and consistently emerge like the lotus flower.
